Markets in Financial Instruments Directive

The Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (“MiFID”), adopted in 2004 and effective as of
1 November 2007, revises and replaces the Investment Services Directive and applies to the conduct of regulated financial services in the European Economic Area (“EEA”). The implementing rules under MiFID are intended to harmonise laws in the EEA as they pertain to financial service providers and to create an integrated financial market in which investors are effectively protected. For purposes of MiFID compliance, Oppenheimer Europe Ltd. is required to provide you with certain information regarding our Client Categorisation, Best Execution Policy and Terms and Conditions.
