Bernie Buonanno is a Managing Director at Riparian Partners. He joined Riparian Partners, Ltd. as a partner of Riparian in March 1995.
Bernie is a former Partner of the law firm Edwards, Angell, Palmer & Dodge, and served as Chairman Providence Office Marketing Department. He formerly owned and managed Old Fox, Inc., a vendor of fertilizer and seed products and a distributor of other agricultural products. He acquired the Company in conjunction with Narragansett Capital in 1970 and subsequently acquired Old Fox outright in 1981. He sold Old Fox in 1988 to Tru-Green, a division of Waste Management. Before acquiring Old Fox, he practiced law from 1963 to 1970.
Mr. Buonanno holds a degree from Brown University and received his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Brendan VanDeventer is a Managing Director of Riparian Partners, where he established the mergers and acquisitions advisory company in 1993. He is also an active Board member and advisor to a variety of privately held companies, currently sitting on the Boards of several non-profit organizations.
Brendan has concentrated his efforts in the investment-banking field with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and the private placement of both debt and equity for privately held companies. Throughout his career, he has managed approximately 80 principal engagement responsibilities with greater than $1 billion in transaction value.
Before founding Riparian Partners, Brendan served as a Principal at a local regional investment banking firm, DWQ Associates. Previously, he was a Senior Lender and Vice President in the Commercial Banking Group of Bank of Boston/Rhode Island Hospital Trust National Bank. While at Bank of Boston, he specialized in structured financing, leveraged buyouts, ESOP's and tax exempt financing. From 1984-1986, Brendan helped to provide lease financing to both government and private sector organizations across the nation in the Specialized Lending Department at Old Stone Bank.

Tom Golding brings more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry with an expertise in distribution business advisory as a managing director at Riparian Partners.
Prior to joining Riparian, Tom served as President of the Eagle Electric Supply Division of Sonepar Distribution US, Inc. In 1996, he was elected President and COO of the company after ten years with Eagle Electric. Previously, Tom served as Assistant Vice President as a commercial lender at Shawmut Bank, N.A. in Boston, MA, where his clients included Fortune 500 companies. His banking career began at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. in New York, where he had lending responsibilities to middle market companies in the Midwest.
Tom received a B.A. in Economics from Williams College in 1982 and currently holds the Limited Representative – Investment Banking License (Series 79) and the Uniform Securities Agent State Law License (Series 63).

Randall Miles is a Managing Director at Riparian Partners, a Division of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., with over 25 years of investment banking and CEO operating experience. His investment banking background includes M&A, corporate finance and structured finance expertise developed while holding senior leadership positions at bulge bracket and regional firms such as First Boston, Greenwich Capital Markets, D.A Davidson & Co. and Meridian Capital.
Randall has served as CEO of public and private firms that have included Syngence Corporation, an eDiscovery software company at which he directed its restructuring, LionMTS, a publicly traded financial technology firm where he directed a strategic expansion strategy that included several acquisitions and NAFCO Holdings, a diversified financial services company that grew rapidly both organically and through acquisition. Randall has extensive public, private and non-proit board experience that currently includes Kuity, Inc., Commercial Online Network and others.
Randall holds a degree in business from the University of Washington, and currently holds the Limited Representative-Investment Banking License (Series 79.)
