Oppenheimer, in Europe, provides investment services to UK, European and Middle East clients (EMEA)
across institutional equities, fixed income and investment banking out of London.
Institutional Equities
The London office has a team of 10 very experienced senior sales providing solely U.S. research coverage to
UK and European Institutional clients. We have a holistic approach to our client base and our sales force is
organized by client teams: UK, Germany, Scandinavia, Netherlands, France, Belgium, Switzerland and Italy.
We have a dedicated U.S. equity sales trading desk based in London covering the European countries.
The research sales and sales trading desk provide customized high touch coverage to the top 150 institutional
clients by asset under management.
A dedicated corporate access team is assisting management globally to effectively plan road shows in
both the UK and Europe identifying clients, providing logistics support as well as pre and post road show
feedback.
We have also a dedicated equity capital market desk covering the major UK and European clients.
Fixed Income
Oppenheimer Europe's established London Fixed Income desk provides a sales and trading platform for
institutional investors.
This fast-growing team is able to facilitate business in a wide variety of products and currencies such as:
- Government Bonds
- Corporate Bonds
- High Yield debt
- Distressed debt
- Convertible Bonds
Investment Banking Services
The European Corporate Finance team provides advice to a broad range of institutional clients, including
public companies, private companies and government-owned businesses on a range of matters including
mergers, acquisitions, disposals, public offers and takeovers, strategic reviews, management buy-outs and
buy-ins, leveraged buy-outs and restructurings.
