Our institutional sales effort offers the highest level of client service for equity portfolio managers and analysts. Our salespeople, having an average of 12 years of industry experience, along with Oppenheimer's brand and nationwide network, affords our firm the special opportunity of having a sales force located across the country providing the best client service possible. Through our U.S. offices as well as our London, Hong Kong and Tel Aviv offices, our sales effort reaches over 3,000 domestic and international equity investors. Oppenheimer's sales force is backed by the resources of our full-service global financial institution with a primary focus on mid-cap growth equities.
Our institutional trading effort is committed to the excellence demanded by clients in achieving best execution for equity trading. With equity trading desks located in London, Boston, San Francisco and Tel Aviv as well as our primary New York trading desk, the firm offers outstanding service levels and attention to equity trading desks globally. We make markets in over 1,900 stocks with a focus on the over 700 publicly traded companies covered by Oppenheimer's Equity Research Department.
