Master Limited Partnerships & Royalty Trusts
We focus on midstream MLPs which typically represent pipelines, gathering systems, processing plants and storage facilities. We have raised public equity capital for midstream MLPs as well as the monetization of general partner interests. On the upstream side, we have raised equity capital for MLPs and Royalty Trusts which own mature, proved producing oil and gas properties which are structured to provide relatively predictable cash flow streams. Overall, our investors are attracted to MLPs which provide an attractive total return story of tax efficient, growing cash distributions combined with potential for capital appreciation.
Oil Field Equipment & Services
Oppenheimer has been engaged in transactions involving various public oil field equipment and services companies. We have a long history in the onshore and offshore drilling sectors, combined with thorough knowledge of the engineering and construction markets, offshore transportation, down hole services as well as seismic surveyors.
Alternative Energy Producers
We have significant experience in project financing of biomass power generation facilities. While we have historically funded a number of greenfield projects, in today's market we focus on existing producers. Public policy initiatives, tax incentives and fundamental economics bode well for the long term prospects of this sector and we at Oppenheimer look to help meet our clients' growth opportunities.
Maritime Shipping
We have developed a major presence in equity financing of public and private global shipping companies. One of our 144A offerings was awarded Private Equity Deal of the Year in 2006 by Marine Money. Since January 2007, Oppenheimer is ranked the #4 underwriter of public equity offerings for U.S.-listed maritime shipping companies*. Our clients include owners of dry bulk ships, crude oil tankers, containerships, refined product vessels and specialty carriers, such as LNG or LPG. Other Transportation Sectors
