Oppenheimer Europe - Management Team

Max Lami is the Chief Executive Offi cer of Oppenheimer Europe Ltd. and Head of Investment Banking for the EMEA region. Mr. Lami joined the Firm in 2009 and brings over 20 years of experience in the fi nancial services industry.

Mr. Lami utilizes his experience to assist the Management and Global Equity Executive Committees with guiding Oppenheimer’s overarching strategies and business priorities. He also oversees the strategic positioning of the Firm’s international business as the Chairman of the EMEA Financial Transaction Advisory, European Executive, and International Business Development Committees.

Mr. Lami started his career at Bear Stearns International where he was appointed as a Managing Director Principle. He then joined the equities division of Goldman Sachs International where he ran the U.S. product distribution and was a member of the Equities Management Committee. He later became a partner at MLM Capital, a London based professional services firm that worked in partnership with Oliver Wyman, consulting to retail mid-cap banking groups.

Mr. Lami graduated from the University of Florence with a BA/MA in Economics and a focus on Game Theory applied to Public Finance.

As Managing Director and European Head of Institutional Equity, Philippa Parisi provides both trading expertise and senior guidance with a focus on expanding Oppenheimer’s US and International Equity platform and capabilities across EMEA.

Philippa started her career at Credit Suisse, working in their Milan, London and New York offices for over a decade before joining Bear Stearns and JP Morgan.

Philippa is a member of the European Executive Committee.

As Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income in Europe, Lance Heatley provides both trading expertise and senior guidance with a focus on expanding Oppenheimer’s fixed income capabilities across EMEA.

Before joining Oppenheimer, Lance had worked at Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns and Jefferies.

Lance is a member of the European Executive Committee. 

As Managing Director and European Head of Portfolio Strategy Research, Geoffrey leads Oppenheimer Europe’s Portfolio Strategy team to provide clients with investment tools that can be incorporated in to their investment process.

Prior to joining Oppenheimer, Geoffrey was a Managing Director and Head of Global Strategy Sales at Brown Brothers Harriman.

Geoffrey holds a MBA from Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.

As Managing Director and European Head of Legal and Compliance, Rahima ensures that the business is in adherence to the applicable laws and regulations of the jurisdictions in her remit.

Rahima is a UK Solicitor and prior to joining Oppenheimer, Rahima held senior legal and compliance positions at Autonomous Research LLP, Kleinwort Benson Dresdner, LCF Rothschild Securities and Barclays Capital.

Rahima holds a LLB Law Degree and LLM Masters in Law from the University of Hertfordshire.

Rahima is a member of the European Executive Committee.
