2nd Annual Healthcare Information Technology 1-on-1 Conference
February 25, 2010
On February 25th we are hosting the 2nd Annual Healthcare Information Technology 1-on-1 Conference at Oppenheimer’s offices at 300 Madison Avenue in New York City.
Healthcare in the U.S. is facing a period of unprecedented changes, particularly in the realm of information technology with the passage of the HITECH Act, which is set to provide $19 billion for the adoption of electronic health records. Other recent initiatives, such as the national e-prescribing initiative (NESPI) have helped increase the momentum for the adoption of information technology in healthcare, but the HITECH Act is poised to push healthcare further than ever before in the effort to truly digitize healthcare. Yet this doesn’t come without challenges given the size, scale and complexity of enacting the incentive payments to providers. We believe our conference can provide a unique forum to gain insights about the dynamics facing healthcare providers today, the opportunities and challenges presented by the HITECH Act, as well as the solutions offered by companies operating in this space to capture those opportunities.
Our annual Healthcare Information Technology Conference will provide intimate access to senior management, and facilitate private discussion with prominent public and private companies operating in the sector. Company management teams will be available for 40-minute 1-on-1 meetings with institutional investors. This format will allow for attendees to have private discussions directly with management.
