2nd Annual Alternative Energy 1-on-1 Conference

On March 12th, we are hosting our 2nd Annual Alternative Energy 1-on-1 Conference at Oppenheimer's offices at 300 Madison Avenue in New York City.
This conference will feature management teams from leading public companies in the alternative energy sector, with a focus on solar and renewable fuels. Despite turbulent financial markets and near-term pressures from tight credit and unfavorable FX, the long-term outlook for alternative energy remains very favorable.
Although markets have witnessed a significant decline from last summer's record oil prices, there remains a global interest in renewable energy sources. The long term rationale centers around several key factors including: the declining supply of fossil fuels, the desire for energy independence and a greater emphasis by many governments on mandated reductions in carbon emissions. With continued gains in production efficiencies and technology advancements, reaching grid parity is possible over the next several years, which would make alternatives such as solar energy competitive on a long-term basis.
We are offering a comprehensive forum for investors to learn more about the emerging alternative energy sector and the companies that are best positioned for success.
The conference will consist entirely of 1-on-1 meetings throughout the day in 50-minute increments (40-minute meetings followed by 10-minute transition periods).
